As Principal of BTW, Ellen is responsible for overall leadership of the firm, as well as directing research and evaluation projects and organizational planning processes. Her areas of content expertise include organizational effectiveness, field building, community health, children and youth, community and economic development, education, service and civic engagement. Ellen is skilled at incorporating multiple perspectives into research and planning processes and in collecting and analyzing data that organizations can use to inform their planning and development.

Lande Ajose, Managing Director

Lande provides organizational leadership and directs BTW client work. Drawing on her expertise in research, evaluation, analysis and communication, Lande designs and directs complex organizational planning and evaluation projects related to education and the workforce. Her experience includes issues of governance, executive leadership and organizational alignment, where she is adept at helping clients use data to inform their decision-making.

Kim Ammann Howard, Director of Evaluation & Organizational Learning

Kim directs complex BTW evaluation projects, providing support and guidance to project teams on design and methodology and managing BTW's overall organizational learning. She provides expertise in designing and overseeing planning, evaluation and applied research projects that focus on a variety of areas including leadership development, organizational effectiveness, public policy, education, public health and social change.

She examines community capacity and social-capital development through service, volunteerism, civic engagement and other aspects of civil society.

She is also project manager for several BTW endeavors, including complex, multi-year projects for which she oversees task and budget management and overall quality assurance.

Cinnamon Daniel, Associate/Field Supervisor

Cinnamon gathers and synthesizes information and prepares reports for a number of BTW planning and evaluation efforts. Her data collection expertise is in conducting interviews and focus groups on workforce development, faith-based institutions and initiatives, youth development programs and social enterprises. Cinnamon is also BTW’s Field Supervisor for projects with large numbers of in-depth client interviews

Ilana gathers and synthesizes information for a number of complex, multi-year BTW evaluations, with an emphasis in education. She devises and conducts BTW research studies, analyzing data and creating reports to help organizations make information-based policy and program decisions. She is currently a member of the David & Lucile Packard and Jim Joseph Foundation project teams.

Through her work at BTW she has developed an expertise in health initiatives and leadership development programs. Regina develops data-collection tools, analyzes quantitative and qualitative data and conducts interviews with grantees, staff and key stakeholders.
