Cinnamon Daniel, Associate/Field Supervisor

Cinnamon gathers and synthesizes information and prepares reports for a number of BTW planning and evaluation efforts. Her data collection expertise is in conducting interviews and focus groups on workforce development, faith-based institutions and initiatives, youth development programs and social enterprises. Cinnamon is also BTW’s Field Supervisor for projects with large numbers of in-depth client interviews

Cinnamon recently served on BTW’s evaluation team for the David & Lucile Packard Foundation’s Afterschool and Summer Enrichment Subprogram. She collects and analyzes data for clients such as the Jim Joseph Foundation, the Bay Area Workforce Funding Collaborative and the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation, and has worked on the theory-of-change process with the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center and the St. Vincent de Paul Special Works program.

Prior to joining BTW, Cinnamon served as a Unitarian Universalist minister specializing in education with children and youth throughout the country, most recently at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland.

Cinnamon holds a BA from Princeton University, and an M.Div and a Th.M from Union Theological Seminary in New York City.
